All accommodation is offered subject to availability at the time of confirmation and at the tariffs according to season.
The Cardoun is totally non smoking, however there is a seated smoking area outside at the front of the premises.
A deposit of £10 per adult is per night is required which is non refundable, all outstanding balances must be paid on arrival, cheques are not accepted.
Rooms will be available from 2pm on the day of arrival. Rooms must be vacated by 10am on day of departure, a late checkout at 1pm may be requested but is subject to availability and is charged at £10 per room.
The proprietors do not accept responsibility for valuables left in rooms.
Guests are politely asked to consider other guests by keeping noise to a minimum especially after 10pm when guests or children may be sleeping.
The proprietors reserve the right to cancel accommodation without refund, if in their opinion the behaviour of a guest is such that the comfort and enjoyment of others is thereby inhibited.
If the deposit has been paid using a debit or credit card authorised account number, then any payment owing due to cancellation, curtailment or damage (damage – minimum charge of £50), will also be made on this same account number by the proprietor. In the event of you not arriving for your booking (No show) and NO PRIOR notification being received then the full remaining balance will be due and will also be taken from the same account. The card holder will be notified of any such transaction.
All rooms are checked prior to your arrival and departure, and any damages (food / drink spillages etc) or destruction has to be paid for by the occupants. Labour charges are expensive and an Emergency call out charge can be as much as £50 per half hour plus materials, a replacement mattress could cost in excess of £200.
Smoking is not permitted in any part of the building. Any evidence of smoking in bedrooms will result in guests being asked to leave, irrespective of time of day with no refund. A further charge of £50 will be deducted from the credit card used to secure the booking.
Bringing back unauthorised overnight visitors is strictly prohibited, guests found doing so will be charged for an extra one night acommodation without exception, this will be taken from the card account used to pay for the deposit.
If there are any problems or issues which you need to bring to my attention please feel free to do so. I will always try my very best to deal with any issue you may have and hope for a satisfactory solution for all. It is preferred that you do this immediately so your stay is not affected any longer than necessary.
When booking your holidays you are entering into a legally binding contract and it is recommended that you take out holiday insurance to cover any eventuality.

The Cardoun ("The Cardoun") operates The Cardoun and may operate other websites. It is The Cardoun policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating our websites.
Website Visitors
Like most website operators, The Cardoun collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. The Cardoun purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how The Cardoun visitors use its website. From time to time, The Cardoun may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.
The Cardoun also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for logged in users and for users leaving comments on The Cardoun blogs/sites. Certain visitors to The Cardoun websites choose to interact with The Cardoun in ways that require The Cardoun to gather personally-identifying information. In each case, The Cardoun collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor's interaction with The Cardoun. The Cardoun may collect statistics about the behavior of visitors to its websites. The Cardoun may display this information publicly or provide it to others. However, The Cardoun does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below.

The Cardoun uses cookies to help The Cardoun identify and track visitors, their usage of The Cardoun website, and their website access preferences.
